100% New ~CC~ Key engine!
The second most noticeable change is the method used for winding our new ~CC~ Keys. Foregoing a traditional menu based "pick a time" system we decided upon a semi-interactive click and hold system. Allowing a finer amount of control over a key's spring tension this method also allows for more interactivity with a the doll.
Other wonderful features include scripted texture change allowing for several key materials, a standard suite of RLV restrictions on wind down Animations, sounds, the return of our dual key movements and a more refined quicker dolly dress up system.
Finally with the relaunch comes an automated update system forever ensuring that you're up to date with the latest bug fixes, and future planned features. And, for a limited time until the end of July we'll be offering a trade in discount to any current ~CC~ Key owners towards a new version Key!
So drop on by any ~CC~ location and check out our new keys or feel free to IM me with any questions you may have!
With much love,

All Dolled Up..
With the coming of what feels like an early autumn is a transfer in ownership at All Dolled Up, for those of you who don't know ADU was a quaint little place run by a wonderful woman named Subversive Vavoom. The "doll box" as I so often called it sold unique doll related items from the talented creators in the rather (comparatively) small community within SL. From Jessica's wonderfully detailed prim items, and Zilvara's abstract artful doll keys, to Subversive's gorgous skins. I say was because a good portion of these items and Subversive herself are now gone.
Now, I'm by no means trying to be negative or resistive to change which is of course a natural thing that most people would display to varying degrees but myself and various others who will remain nameless feel that things are somehow..."off" almost an uncanny valley to what we're accustomed to and expect from such a place. Now I could expound on these comments feelings etc. etc. that I've been privy too however such... unpleasant things really have no place here and I would hate to be labeled as someone unscrupulous by others. I'm very curious on the opinions of you my reader(s) on the new All Dolled up because everyone's opinion is a little slice of something greater the collective whole if you will.
I always say I'll post here more regularly but never seem to find the time too so I've given Rosemarie the go ahead to post anything here she sees fit, if anything she'll keep all (one) of you interested in the eccentricities that float about myself and those who associate with me.
~Smile~ I'll see you soon I'm sure of it.

Cute huh? She's loveable and hugable and cute as well a dollie, here's the SLX Link for this loveable ball of cute prims.
I'll probably have a more "Newsy" update later today or tomorow for all the crazy doll lady talk but in the meantime, yep I'm back!

Look I made a Cube!
And building is what I've been doing well partly, more tossing some ideas around my head I usually need a fair amount of free time to work. Since my last Post I've made a Clockwork doll "ticker" that allows you to start and stop your ticking sound with a HUD attachment, My little house Modeled after one I used to own on the mainland, some persocom/Chobits styled eyes and a Tree AV type thing.
Of course...or maybe I should say "of curse" my PC finally slipped off into the great LAN in the sky so I've been away from SL for nearly a week. I should be returning by Thursday or Friday if all goes well. Despite the horrible week of having a cat and my PC die coupled with awful depression I now feel...refreshed. My head or senses rather keep telling me that it's spring which has rejuvenated me in a way I suppose.

Under the Tree with Jessica and Me:
With Christmas upon us comes the spirit of giving and the time when lovely little toys get to be the star...to the dismay of the star atop the tree all that hard work without recognition but I digress.Nearly every household's Christmas tree will have some type of doll under it, be it a stuffed animal, a Barbie, or even a GI-Joe, yes a wonderful time to be a Doll.
Here in SL just like the real world makers of goods try to cash in on this joyous spending spree and while there's lots of junk out there some things are simply wonderful. Luckily I was able to find some of these "wonderful things" and they just happened to be dresses.
Today for review are two dresses from the "*Wishbox*" brand's foray into EGL clothes, *Wishbox* is of course run by Wisp Jinn and is an established maker of Medieval fantasy outfits. Her shop is in-world at Kan Lara, 121, 63, 401.
The first outfit, up is, "Candy Cane Lolita", A very cute Christmas themed dress adorned with a candy cane motif on the skirt headdress and striped stockings. The added bonus of alternate white stockings was a nice touch as well. The texture and prim work are wonderful (the little mints on the headdress look edible) and it really is a sweet little dress for the holidays.
And next up Is a Lovely Dress called "Velveteen Ribbons" in red.(It also comes in Black and Teal)A wonderfully Detailed outfit that while most likely made for a holiday theme is wonderful for everyday wear for Dolls and well anyone who would dress like this every day in Second Life. Like the last dress the textures and prim work are well done and the amount of fitting needed was quite minimal for both I and Jessica.
The Candy Cane dress was 399L while the Velveteen Ribbons dress was 550L worth every bit if not more, the only Issue Jessica and I really had was that they were Mod, Transfer, no copy rather then Copy,Mod, No Transfer, however if you're worried you can IM Wisp Jinn and she will fit it for you. So remember come Christmas morning play nice with your toys boys and girls, and don't neglect your older ones too.

Getting Viggy With it:
Yora is loads of fun to be around despite our different outlooks on Dolls. You know you're having sylie good fun when you're in a upscale dress shop with Yora dressed as Rainbow Brite setting up lighting for a photo shoot while "Loli's with Guns" shop in the background.
I'm quite glad that her and a few other people enjoy it so much, I had originally made the dummy to be a builder's and shopkeeper's aid. The idea had come to me roughly a month and a half ago when Miss Szilvia (one of the most beautiful and respected women in Sarah's county as I call it) had difficulty creating something for an avatar. Of course at the time my skills as a builder weren't quite what they are now so I had put it on the back burner.
I've always found it interesting that if I just sit and think of things to make I can't. I need some sort of inspirational spark from someone or something to get the gears turning, but when this does happen it often leads to something quite wonderful.

Alts Dolls Dollts? Bolts? Boats? Wait what?
Don't get me wrong I love being the sexy eccentric Doll maker, but I also love being a cute adorable little Dollie, and can pop into either or's mood at the drop of a Frilly tiny top hat.
Now making an Alt has popped into my calculating clockwork contraption of a head at times but then I get all obsessive compulsive about things picking a name transferring the right items actually creating the account which LL has made a sloppy mess of heaven forbid if you can have one top account with little aliases heck even IRC nicks are easier to link.
And of course there's the oddity of talking with myself if I logged both AVs in at once which I admit would be very fun!
I'm just curious reader(s) if any of you have these personality balancing problems? I realize I'm looking for justifiable input to sway me one way or the other but despite my insecurities it's still an interesting topic in my mind. I even had to make up a sort of continuity back story linking those two aspects of myself, which is honestly an upside because that kind of imaginary make believe stuff I love.
I'm not obsessive with minor details one bit that's just silly. Now if you'll excuse me it's Monday so I need to go re-wallpaper the shop....

Someone left the doll ajar again......

Wait, You're a doll?......
Well the more civil ones at least, others have declared me a "Child AV" that was created for some grand scheme so I can jump through a loophole and engage in some sort of secretive digital sexual role play because clearly I'm some sort of horny pervert. I just write these people off as ones who think too much with their naughty bits.
Ahem where was I? ah yes.
When I'm speaking to the inquisitive with more than half a mind I'm often at a loss for words or find it difficult to explain exactly, I have however come up with the following.
- For me it's not about submission
- It's not about being an object "Object Says: Hello Avatar!" (Sorry had to do it)
- It allows me to bring out my artful and creative side and it sparks my imagination
Dolls were created to be a child's little imaginary yet tangible friend. A little girl could share secrets, sadness, joy, and her life in general be it imaginary or not with her Dollie and the doll would always give her the support she needed.
This is what I love about dolls in Second Life the wonderful cuteness of it all is just a little bonus. (and I am cute admit it) I spoke with the rather high spirited Yora Vig about it the other night and jokingly coined the term "Orthodox Clockwork Dollery" which I've actually come to like despite it's apparent lack of "cute". Yora is a great person despite our different view on dolls.
