CLAMP-tastic?

Today's little update is to announce the release of some new "persocom" styled eyes done with the "Odd eye" system Used in my others. Since I lost the master PSD files I had to re-texture them resulting in some new colours while some others are now absent, regardless they look quite nice, and the subtle glow gives a faintly electronic feel to them.

The second item On today's list is a sculpted set of Chii styled "persocom pods" the sculpt work was done on request under my somewhat strict and scrutinizing eye by the wonderfully talented Jojojojo Tenjin.

More updates to come in the future, but in the meantime I'm sure these new items will help you find the person just for you. ~smile~

And Next up is ~CC~ 002 Dollie, Smaller and and more delicate at a height of 1.6m

Have fun and hope you like them, they can be found at my main shop and Xstreet SL.

All Dolled Up..

Welcome, How have you been..? That's good to hear. I've been busy myself in case you haven't guessed. Building, helping, fixing, learning, all those fun little things. ~Smile~

With the coming of what feels like an early autumn is a transfer in ownership at All Dolled Up, for those of you who don't know ADU was a quaint little place run by a wonderful woman named Subversive Vavoom. The "doll box" as I so often called it sold unique doll related items from the talented creators in the rather (comparatively) small community within SL. From Jessica's wonderfully detailed prim items, and Zilvara's abstract artful doll keys, to Subversive's gorgous skins. I say was because a good portion of these items and Subversive herself are now gone.

Now, I'm by no means trying to be negative or resistive to change which is of course a natural thing that most people would display to varying degrees but myself and various others who will remain nameless feel that things are somehow..."off" almost an uncanny valley to what we're accustomed to and expect from such a place. Now I could expound on these comments feelings etc. etc. that I've been privy too however such... unpleasant things really have no place here and I would hate to be labeled as someone unscrupulous by others. I'm very curious on the opinions of you my reader(s) on the new All Dolled up because everyone's opinion is a little slice of something greater the collective whole if you will.

I always say I'll post here more regularly but never seem to find the time too so I've given Rosemarie the go ahead to post anything here she sees fit, if anything she'll keep all (one) of you interested in the eccentricities that float about myself and those who associate with me.

~Smile~ I'll see you soon I'm sure of it.

I'm back and with Cool Stuff too!!

Well I'm finally back! Ok ok so technically i've been back for a while but nothing intresting to write about that and the horrible writer's block that thankfully I seem to be over now. I've been somewhat busy with some new items avatar accesories to be more exact.

First up is somthing very neat for all you "Digital" Dolls out there a pair of "Mecha girl ears" isnpired by the cute HMX-12 Multi from 'To Heart' I've made them Mod Copy no trans so you can get the perfect fit.

Next up is what I'm the most proud of, a 200+ prim Doll made as an avatar accesory. She's nameable, has twelve difrent dress and trim textures, nekomimi accesories eyeglasses and changeable hair options. Sespite the high primage I went for a cute simple look which I think I captured well.

Cute huh? She's loveable and hugable and cute as well a dollie, here's the SLX Link for this loveable ball of cute prims.

I'll probably have a more "Newsy" update later today or tomorow for all the crazy doll lady talk but in the meantime, yep I'm back!

Final Thought:I've forgotten how to write well (T.T)

Look I made a Cube!

Nearly everything one builds starts as a single prim, It's your imagination or creativity that's most important tool. (well that and it's nice to know how to actually use the build system)

And building is what I've been doing well partly, more tossing some ideas around my head I usually need a fair amount of free time to work. Since my last Post I've made a Clockwork doll "ticker" that allows you to start and stop your ticking sound with a HUD attachment, My little house Modeled after one I used to own on the mainland, some persocom/Chobits styled eyes and a Tree AV type thing.

Of course...or maybe I should say "of curse" my PC finally slipped off into the great LAN in the sky so I've been away from SL for nearly a week. I should be returning by Thursday or Friday if all goes well. Despite the horrible week of having a cat and my PC die coupled with awful depression I now feel...refreshed. My head or senses rather keep telling me that it's spring which has rejuvenated me in a way I suppose.

Alts Part II:The Dallting

Made a cute little Alt yesterday since they're currently and supposedly free right now to help separate my "selves" and the workload of having a shop and the like while still trying to have Dollish fun. It's actually nice to have a fresh start the only worry I really have is if I neglect one or the other but I honestly doubt that will happen, just need time to adjust really. Ah another thing is Resources for building when It "hits" me but I can switch easy enough Usually.

Final Thought:Account's everywhere the horror...the horror........

Under the Tree with Jessica and Me:

With Christmas upon us comes the spirit of giving and the time when lovely little toys get to be the star...to the dismay of the star atop the tree all that hard work without recognition but I digress.
Nearly every household's Christmas tree will have some type of doll under it, be it a stuffed animal, a Barbie, or even a GI-Joe, yes a wonderful time to be a Doll.

Here in SL just like the real world makers of goods try to cash in on this joyous spending spree and while there's lots of junk out there some things are simply wonderful. Luckily I was able to find some of these "wonderful things" and they just happened to be dresses.

Today for review are two dresses from the "*Wishbox*" brand's foray into EGL clothes, *Wishbox* is of course run by Wisp Jinn and is an established maker of Medieval fantasy outfits. Her shop is in-world at Kan Lara, 121, 63, 401.

The first outfit, up is, "Candy Cane Lolita", A very cute Christmas themed dress adorned with a candy cane motif on the skirt headdress and striped stockings. The added bonus of alternate white stockings was a nice touch as well.
The texture and prim work are wonderful (the little mints on the headdress look edible) and it really is a sweet little dress for the holidays.

And next up Is a Lovely Dress called "Velveteen Ribbons" in red.(It also comes in Black and Teal)

A wonderfully Detailed outfit that while most likely made for a holiday theme is wonderful for everyday wear for Dolls and well anyone who would dress like this every day in Second Life. Like the last dress the textures and prim work are well done and the amount of fitting needed was quite minimal for both I and Jessica.

The Candy Cane dress was 399L while the Velveteen Ribbons dress was 550L worth every bit if not more, the only Issue Jessica and I really had was that they were Mod, Transfer, no copy rather then Copy,Mod, No Transfer, however if you're worried you can IM Wisp Jinn and she will fit it for you. So remember come Christmas morning play nice with your toys boys and girls, and don't neglect your older ones too.

Final Thought:Took me Hours to build that silly little under the tree photo set...
